3. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data needed to operate the Site, process orders and provide customer service. Depending on your interaction with us, this may include:

  • Full name, email address and telephone number.
  • Shipping address and, where applicable, billing address.
  • Chilean tax ID when required for invoicing.

We do not request or intentionally store sensitive data as defined by article 2(g) of Law No. 19,628, unless you voluntarily include it in a message. In that case, it is treated with the same confidentiality as your other data.

4. Data we do not collect or store

Triballe does not collect or store complete credit or debit card details, including full card number, expiry date or security code.

Payments are processed directly by Mercado Pago or Fintoc. Card or bank information travels directly to the chosen platform through encrypted connections. Triballe receives only the approval or rejection status and a transaction identifier, never complete card details, banking credentials or passwords.

5. Purposes of data processing

We use personal data only for the following purposes:

  • Process, manage and ship orders.
  • Communicate about purchases, delivery, exchanges and returns.
  • Issue receipts or invoices.
  • Respond to contact, email or WhatsApp enquiries.
  • Manage a user account, where applicable.
  • Prevent fraud and validate transaction security.
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations.
  • Improve the Site and shopping experience.
  • Send marketing messages only after express consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

We do not use personal data for other purposes without prior consent.

6. Who receives your data

Triballe does not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share only the information strictly necessary with service providers that help operate the business and are required to protect it.

  • Mercado Pago and Fintoc, for secure payment processing.
  • Carriers such as Blue Express, Welivery or others selected for delivery, which receive the contact and address details needed to deliver and track an order.
  • Technology and infrastructure providers supporting hosting, databases and transactional email.
  • Competent authorities where required by law, court order or a regulatory body.

We never share your data for advertising by unrelated third parties.

7. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:

  • HTTPS/SSL encryption across the Site.
  • Encrypted password storage, never plain text.
  • Restricted database access for authorized personnel only.
  • No storage of payment-card details on Triballe servers.

No transmission or storage system is completely infallible, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Remember products in the shopping cart.
  • Keep a user signed in, where an account exists.
  • Understand Site use through analytics such as Google Analytics.
  • Measure advertising campaign performance, including through Meta Pixel where applicable.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some functions, including the cart or account sign-in, may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations. Once those periods expire, or when deletion is requested and no legal obligation prevents it, data is deleted or anonymized.

10. Your rights

Under Law No. 19,628, you may exercise the following rights:

  • Access: request information about the data we process, its purpose and recipients.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data.
  • Cancellation: request deletion where processing is not legally required or no longer necessary.
  • Objection: object to specific processing, especially direct marketing.

To exercise a right, email hola@triballe.cl with your full name and contact details, the right you wish to exercise and a brief description of the request. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. Certain records may be retained where required by law or while an order or warranty remains active.

The Site and our products are intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data without consent from a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that such data was collected without authorization, we will delete it.

12. International transfers

Some technology providers may store or process data on servers outside Chile. In those cases, we require security and confidentiality standards equivalent to those described in this policy.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law or services. The current version is always the one published on this page with its last-updated date.
